Analyzing Keywords - Search Engine Market Share

You can now obtain Search Engine Market Share graphs from two places. The first is available from most result sets, by clicking the Market Share icon, the second is available by clicking Keyword Trends on the toolbar. The Keyword Trends tool allows you to compare up to 5 search terms at once and see Search Engine Market Share for specific countries.

• To obtain Search Engine Market Share information, you can click the Market Share icon on a result set.

  

  After clicking the icon, the market share graph will be displayed, showing you result from the last 12 months. The chart type can be changed between historical (shows weekly data), monthly and trend.

  

  NOTE: All chart data is from the global premium database.

• The second way allows you to compare up to 5 search terms at once and see Search Engine Market Share for specific countries. It can be accessed by clicking Keyword Trends on the toolbar.

  

1. Enter up to 5 search terms into the Keywords field, separated by commas
2. Select a Database
3. Click Search Trends
4. Scroll down to the Search Engine Market Share section

The Keyword Trends tool will also display Historical Trends and Search Demographics. For more information, see their manual pages:
